Role Summary: The client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 10+ years of professional experience to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT initiatives. The role involves managing projects delivered through a hybrid model combining Agile and Waterfall methodologies and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT projects from initiation through closure
- Manage project delivery using a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies
- Lead and motivate cross‑functional delivery teams, including onshore and offshore resources
- Ensure adherence to project governance, delivery standards, and best practices
- Effectively manage and communicate with senior stakeholders and business sponsors
- Influence senior leadership to secure funding and approval for proposed initiatives
- Monitor project performance and take corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes
- Provide regular project updates, status reports, and executive‑level communications
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager
- Proven experience delivering complex IT projects end to end
- Strong expertise in IT project delivery methodologies, processes, and governance
- Experience leading delivery teams and managing team performance
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
- Recognised project management qualification (e.g. APMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders to secure funding
- Experience managing projects with a blend of onshore and offshore resources
- Prior experience working within a retail organization preferred
- Expert knowledge of business processes within relevant functional areas
