Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Project Coordinator to support the delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with defined processes, governance frameworks, and client standards. The role will also involve end-to-end ownership of low‑complexity projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budget, and quality parameters.

Project Delivery

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of low‑complexity projects within defined timescales, budget, and quality expectations
  • Track progress against project plans, resource allocation, and budgets
  • Ensure projects meet agreed business and customer requirements

Process & Quality Compliance

  • Proactively manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAIDs), ensuring timely mitigation or escalation
  • Ensure adherence to IT project delivery methodologies and internal processes
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying delivery process gaps and opportunities
  • Maintain compliance with IT governance frameworks, including approvals and KPIs
  • Follow Service Introduction and Change Management processes

Finance, Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor project financials including budgets, forecasts, actuals, and invoicing
  • Track and explain variances against forecast
  • Ensure costs are aligned with approved funding and do not exceed authorised budgets
  • Validate and approve timesheets, ensuring accuracy and correct project allocation

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support implementation of project communication plans
  • Engage with stakeholders across IT and business teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery

Project Administration & Coordination

  • Provide administrative support to project managers and delivery teams
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including inductions and team updates
  • Manage logistics such as desk moves, meeting scheduling, and workshop coordination
  • Prepare and format reports, presentations, and documentation
  • Capture meeting minutes and track actions to closure
  • Support ad hoc team activities and organise team events, meetings, and offsites

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience in project coordination or PMO support within IT projects
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with project governance, delivery methodologies, and change management processes
  • Good financial awareness (budget tracking, forecasting)
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to structured project methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile)
  • Experience working within regulated or enterprise IT environments
