We’re expanding our Microsoft Dynamics practice and seeking a seasoned Senior Finance Consultant with a strong background in Finance and Operations (F&O). In this role, you’ll work directly with clients to analyze financial processes, assess solution needs, and lead the implementation of tailored Dynamics 365 F&SCM solutions. Your deep F&O expertise will be critical to delivering value and driving successful outcomes across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O).
- Analyze and document client business processes and translate them into solution requirements.
- Configure and customize Dynamics 365 to meet business needs.
- Guide clients through testing (CRP, UAT) and training activities.
- Create functional design documents for any custom development.
- Collaborate with project managers and client teams throughout project phases.
- Use Microsoft tools such as LCS, ADO, BPM, and Office 365 to manage delivery.
- Provide post-go-live support, knowledge sharing, and contribute to practice assets.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&SCM (or AX).
- Completed 3 end to end projects in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O).
- Solid knowledge of core finance modules: GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Cost Accounting.
- Experience leading client workshops and mentoring junior consultants and SME teams.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Understanding of GAAP and project-based financial reporting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements.
- Willingness to travel 3 days a week to customer site anywhere in the UK.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience implementing the Project Management and Accounting module in D365.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or IT-related field.
- Understanding of IFRS and international tax rules.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience with sales tax in multiple countries.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and data migration using the Data Management Framework.
- Experience writing Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
