Roles & Responsibilities
- Looking for a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager with a proven track record of success in managing technology projects.
- The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies, SDLC, with reasonable experience in delivering Infrastructure/Cloud Migration projects.
- Excellent communicator and team leader with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Manage and lead the delivery of projects against a documented and audited methodology.
- Lead independently the development and maintenance of work breakdown structure, activity network, Gantt chart including estimates on duration and resource allocation for medium sized projects.
- Independently lead the formal stakeholder engagement process throughout significant projects including personally influencing the views of key stakeholders and amending stakeholder management plans.
- Manage all aspects of the monitoring and control processes and implement corrective actions.
- Effectively contribute to business meetings and workshops with the ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information both verbally and in a written format.
- Self-Motivated and Driven. Status Reporting.
- A good understanding of the project management lifecycle and the role of a Project/Programme Manager.
- Experience of working within complex change environments, managing small to medium projects simultaneously.
SKILLS And QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL)
- 15+ years of experience as a Project Manager, including 5-8 years in Project management on technical projects.
- Experience managing technology projects, organizational change, and the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts.
- Experience in infrastructure/cloud update or migration projects.
- Knowledge and experience in system development/implementation, software validation, and hosted systems (sandboxes).
- A strong desire to self-learn and improve, manage workload and prioritise effectively, identify knowledge gaps and learn from seniors, and adapt quickly to customer processes and methods.
- Advanced written and communication skills to support report writing and presentations of complex subject matter to stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a technology-focused environment with strong knowledge of PMP and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, and Agile/PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
