We are seeking a highly organized Project Manager (PM) – Technical System Setup to lead and coordinate a series of system enablement activities on the manufacturing floor. This role requires a true task master—someone who can keep cross-functional teams aligned, drive progress across multiple technical workstreams, and ensure all new equipment and systems are production-ready, secure, and fully integrated.
You will oversee the setup of new manufacturing equipment, PLC and computer configurations, automation elements, and end‑to‑end analytics/data readiness. This is a hands-on delivery role suited for a structured PM who excels at stakeholder alignment, critical path planning, and managing vendor/integrator timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project planning, execution, and tracking for the local FSD team.
- Drive stakeholder alignment across engineering, IT, vendors, integrators, and plant leadership.
- Define scope including data needs, equipment requirements, installation timing, and integration flows.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to leadership and technical stakeholders.
- Oversee technical system and equipment setup on the production floor.
- Coordinate PLC configurations, computer setups, security validation, and connectivity readiness.
- Ensure compliance with plant cybersecurity and network requirements.
- Support systems integration across MES, ERP, and other automation platforms.
- Confirm end-to-end network readiness for new machines and connected systems.
- Manage vendor timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Capture interdependencies across tasks and build the critical path for the team.
- Oversee testing activities, cutover planning, and multi-phase go‑live support.
- Ensure machines are secure, connected, supported, and production ready.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and technical setups.
- Ability to translate IT constraints into practical actions for engineering and operations.
- Experience managing vendors and systems integrators.
- Excellent task management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to map dependencies and construct a clear critical path.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence decision makers.
