PMO Lead - Strategic Portfolio Delivery (6-Month FTC)
We are seeking an experienced PMO Lead to partner with senior leadership and drive the successful execution of strategic initiatives across multiple business portfolios.
This is a high-impact role for a delivery-focused individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at influencing senior stakeholders, and has a proven track record of translating strategy into measurable outcomes. Acting as a trusted partner to the COO Office, you will bring structure, governance, accountability, and momentum to key transformation initiatives.

Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract
The Role
- Drive execution of strategic initiatives across multiple portfolios, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives and timelines.
- Establish governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks to provide visibility, accountability, and control.
- Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and challenges, proactively driving resolution and removing obstacles.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment, engagement, and successful adoption of initiatives.
- Facilitate executive decision-making through clear, concise reporting and actionable insights.
- Challenge constructively, influence effectively, and hold teams accountable for delivery commitments.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in PMO Leadership, Portfolio Management, Programme Delivery, Business Transformation, or Strategic Initiatives.
- Proven experience supporting senior executives, ideally COO, CIO, CTO, or equivalent leadership teams.
- Strong track record of delivering complex cross-functional initiatives and organisational change programmes.
- Expertise in portfolio governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and delivery assurance.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive execution across diverse teams.
- Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable operating in environments with pace, ambiguity, and high visibility.
