Weβre looking for a hands-on and proactive L2 Desktop Support Engineer to join our Global Desktop Engineering team. You will provide advanced support for Windows Desktops (physical and virtual) and tackle escalations, helping us deliver a top-tier experience across our offices with a special focus on the APAC region.
Role Description
Location: London Onsite
Duration: 6-Month Fixed Term
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting and maintaining global desktop platforms
- Managing OS patching
- Deploying applications
- Acting as escalation point for APAC issues
- Driving standards
- Mentoring teams
- Recommending new technologies
- Collaborating on projects
- Maintaining documentation
- Participating in modernization initiatives
What You Will Bring:
- Strong Windows 7/10/11 and Server support skills
- Deep knowledge of Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp 7.15+ and VDI environments
- Experience with application deployment, OS imaging (SCCM, PowerShell scripting), profile management, and Citrix policy optimization
- Expertise in patch management, troubleshooting, and exposure to Azure, Office365, VMware, and other technologies
- Client-first mindset, excellent communication, experience in regulated industries preferred, and ability to document processes clearly
Nice To Have:
- Certifications such as CCEA, CCP-V, MCSE, or MCITP
- Experience with vulnerability management and monitoring tools like LogicMonitor/Systrack
