Role Description IT Support Specialist Location: London (UK-based) Type: Permanent / Full-Time Weβre seeking an IT Support Specialist responsible for supporting users, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring service reliability across various locations. The Role Service Delivery: Provide on-site IT support at key client locations. Conduct bi-annual preventative maintenance and ad-hoc site visits. Support critical sites via hybrid on-site, remote, and on-call support. User & Desktop Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with terminals, monitors, phones, and peripherals. Support non-standard equipment like card scanners. Perform cable patching, Wi-Fi diagnostics, WAP replacement, and PC builds (including Thin Clients). Deploy and remove thin client setups and ensure workspace equipment functionality. Infrastructure & Co-Location Services: Manage installations, moves, and changes of IT infrastructure. Perform tasks like power cycling and cabling. Supervise third-party vendors to ensure standards compliance. Asset & Lifecycle Management: Tag and track hardware assets in the CMDB. Manage base image installations and maintain deployment stock. Oversee asset lifecycle and disposal processes. Service Improvements & Continuous Enhancement: Reduce incidents through scheduled maintenance. Participate in service reviews and share knowledge. Drive process improvements with documentation and automation. Qualifications Experience in IT support, infrastructure, and asset management. Proficiency in Windows administration, cable patching, and device builds. Strong troubleshooting skills and customer focus. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with ITSM tools and change management processes.
