Digital Solution Architect (Salesforce Commerce) – Fixed Term Contract (6 Months) in City of London, London

We are seeking an experienced Digital Solution Architect to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract , supporting a key digital commerce transformation programme. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise across Salesforce digital commerce platforms and play a critical role in designing scalable, enterprise-grade solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver end-to-end digital commerce solutions using Salesforce technologies. Provide architecture expertise across Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) , Salesforce Order Management System (SF OMS) , and Salesforce Progressive Web Application (SF PWA) . Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define scalable and efficient digital commerce solutions. Translate business requirements into high-level and detailed solution architecture designs. Lead architecture discussions, technical workshops, and solution design reviews across cross-functional teams. Ensure seamless integration of SFCC, SF OMS, and SF PWA with enterprise systems and third-party platforms. Define and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and design principles for digital commerce implementations. Provide technical guidance, design oversight, and governance to development teams. Identify technical risks, dependencies, and performance considerations, and propose mitigation strategies. Collaborate with programme and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement of solutions. Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience as a Solution Architect in digital commerce environments. Hands-on expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) , Salesforce Order Management System (SF OMS) , and SF PWA . Proven experience in designing enterprise-scale, integrated commerce solutions. Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, and microservices architecture. Experience working in agile delivery environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
