- Enterprise TechnologyUST | London (Hybrid)Start: ASAPType: Permanent UST is seeking a highly experienced Delivery Lead, to join our Financial Services practice and lead delivery across a complex enterprise technology landscape encompassing cloud, infrastructure, engineering platforms and emerging AI-enabled capabilities. This is a strategic leadership role for a delivery professional who thrives in complex environments and can combine delivery excellence, coaching, governance and technical credibility to drive measurable outcomes.
You will act as a trusted delivery leader across multiple technology streams, ensuring clear visibility of progress, risks, dependencies and priorities while helping teams continuously improve how they deliver.
Working closely with engineering, architecture, platform, cloud and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping modern delivery practices and supporting the adoption of AI-enabled ways of working within a highly regulated environment. What You'll Be DoingLead delivery across multiple enterprise technology programmes, platforms and transformation initiatives.
Act as the central point of accountability for delivery health, governance, reporting, risks and dependencies.
Establish and embed consistent delivery standards and best practices across teams. Provide clear executive-level visibility of portfolio progress, issues, risks and delivery outcomes.
Coach and mentor delivery professionals, engineers and cross-functional teams to improve delivery maturity.
Partner with cloud, platform and engineering teams to remove blockers and optimise delivery performance. Support the adoption of AI-assisted and emerging engineering practices within a controlled and governed framework.
Drive collaboration across business, technology and third-party partners to achieve successful outcomes.
Balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery support when required.
What We're Looking ForThe successful candidate will bring: Significant experience leading delivery across multiple technology teams, programmes or portfolios. A proven track record of improving delivery practices, ways of working and organisational delivery maturity.
Strong experience establishing governance, reporting frameworks, RAID management and executive stakeholder reporting.
The ability to quickly take ownership of complex programmes and create momentum.
Experience managing large-scale technology, cloud, infrastructure or platform initiatives.
Strong understanding of Agile, Lean and modern software delivery practices.
Experience working with highly technical engineering teams and senior technology leaders.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across business and technology functions.
Experience operating within Financial Services or other highly regulated environments. A coaching-led leadership style with the ability to drive change through influence rather than authority alone.
Desirable
ExperienceEnterprise cloud transformation programmes. AI, Agentic AI or AI-assisted software delivery environments.
Engineering enablement, DevOps or platform engineering initiatives.
Portfolio planning, budgeting and investment governance. AWS, Azure or enterprise cloud environments.
Delivery leadership within large-scale enterprise technology organisations.
