Overview
In this role you will design and build data models, ETL pipelines and reporting interfaces to support Seismic and similar analytics platforms.
You will work closely with business analysts, product owners and reporting teams to deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions.
The position focuses on hands-on SQL, SSIS, ETL and data modelling to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
This fixed-term UK role is based in London with a strong emphasis on collaboration across onshore and offshore teams and immediate impact.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics
- Build robust ETL processes using SSIS
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures and transformation logic
- Develop data pipelines feeding Seismic and similar reporting tools
- Analyse existing reporting solutions for optimisation and automation
- Translate data requirements from business/reporting teams into technical solutions
- Perform data mapping, transformation and reconciliation across sources
- Ensure data quality and consistency across outputs
- Troubleshoot production issues with root-cause analysis and fixes
- Support testing, deployment and release across environments
- Produce documentation for data models, ETL and reporting interfaces
- Collaborate with onsite and offshore technology teams
- Key requirements
- Strong SQL Server / T-SQL development
- Hands-on SSIS and ETL development experience
- Relational database design and data modelling
- Experience designing data transformation and integration processes
- Experience with enterprise reporting tools/platforms (preferably Seismic)
- Ability to analyse complex datasets and troubleshoot data-quality issues
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and reporting architectures
- Experience with performance tuning of SQL queries and ETL processes
