In your role as DevOps & Security Engineer you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset. This role will provide a great opportunity to assist in the development, build automation and security processes for the in‑house developed solutions. The role involves maintaining and building CI/CD pipelines, enhancing automation test frameworks, and monitoring & improving release processes. The role is essential in ensuring our development functions continue to be able to deliver high quality solutions in a repeatable, error‑free manner.

As a trusted part of the Operations team you will be responsible for:

  • Collect, analyse and document technical/operational requirements from key IMS stakeholders
  • Implement automation for IMS processes
  • Maintain and improve software release and deployment processes
  • Knowledge share across the team with some mentoring from more senior members
  • Participate in team workshops

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Experience expected Azure DevOps Pipelines and CI / CD
  • Atlassian Confluence, Jira and other associated products
  • Languages: PowerShell / Python / C# / SQL

Desirable experience:

  • Cloud deployments to Microsoft products (Fabric, Synapse, Azure) or other Cloud deployments to Snowflake
  • Testing frameworks & Testing tools (Xray, Zephyr etc.)
  • Power BI Reporting and deployments
  • Application security tools (SonarQube, GitHub Security etc.)
  • Scheduling Systems (preferably JAMS)

Expected to produce clear, concise, maintainable code. Ability to share knowledge and relevant technical experience.
