About the role
In your role as Investment Advice Associate you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset.
This role will provide a great opportunity tofocus on the production of investment advice to the scheme’s stakeholders (primarily by drafting and reviewing PowerPoint and Word documents)
The successful applicant will help to ensure that the advice provided to USS (and USSIM) is clear, robust and in the best financial interests of the scheme and its members.
What you will be doing
As a trusted part of the ISA – Investment Strategy & Advice you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the production and review of investment advice to the relevant boards (e.g., the USSIM Executive Committee, USS Investment Committee, USS Trustee Board or USSIM Board).
- Ensuring the advice being produced by the team is of the highest quality, clear, unambiguous, written in plain English and in the best financial interests of the scheme and its members.
- Maintaining legal and governance related documentation in relation to the scheme.
- Understanding pension investment and risk management challenges faced by the scheme and contributing towards developing actionable solutions.
