Our Newry-based practice provides an affordable veterinary service while caring for shelter animals and wildlife - making this a genuinely rewarding locum opportunity.

We are a busy first-opinion small animal practice located within our centre in Newry, which also houses a rehoming centre, wildlife facilities, grooming salon and pet shop supplies. You'll enjoy a varied medical and surgical caseload - including wildlife - with support from a friendly, experienced team.

We are currently seeking locum cover to support our amazing veterinary team of 3 veterinary surgeons, 3 RVNs and 2 ANAs, with support available on site throughout the day.

We're looking for:

  • a confident small animal veterinary surgeon with strong communication skills and a kind, practical approach.
  • Ideally you'll have at least 2 years' experience due to occasional sole charge, however we're happy to discuss this depending on the dates required and the level of support available.
