As a member of our teaching team, you will:
- Deliver outstanding teaching and learning across our GCSE English and Maths department, engaging students from Level 1 to Level 3.
- Support the academic and pastoral development of learners, ensuring they are ready to learn and thrive.
- Contribute to curriculum development, innovation, and the wider life of the College.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.
- Provide academic guidance and pastoral support to help every learner succeed.
- Make effective use of digital platforms (e.g., Teams, Google Classroom) and emerging tools such as AI to enhance student learning and feedback.
- Participate in curriculum development, open events, interviews, and student induction activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support continuous improvement.
- Uphold safeguarding, equality, diversity, and health and safety policies.
About You:
- Qualified to degree in relevant subject or similar.
- An expert in their subject area, with a strong understanding of progression pathways and enrichment opportunities.
- Enthusiastic about teaching, with effective strategies to support learners at Levels 1‑3 (and Level 4 where appropriate).
- Confident in using digital tools to engage learners and enhance teaching.
- Able to balance academic rigor with encouragement and support, motivating students to achieve their full potential.
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/Cert Ed).
- Professional or industry experience to enrich classroom teaching.
- Experience in curriculum development, course leadership, or employer engagement.
