Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement of subcontractors, materials, plant, and services in line with Project Procurement Strategy and LOR values.
  • Provide market intelligence, cost advice, and supply chain performance feedback.
  • Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals.
  • Champion in-house opportunities through DfMA and self-delivery.
  • Ensure ethical, compliant procurement practices and monitor markets to mitigate risk.
  • Promote innovation through materials, systems, and methods to improve cost efficiency and competitive advantage.
  • Attend senior leadership and Business Plan Review meetings as required.
  • Extensive construction industry experience with strong knowledge of interfaces and relationships.
  • Expertise in negotiation, legal & contracting, supply base management, and NEC3/JCT contracts.
  • Track record in creating and delivering procurement strategies that add value.
  • Experience supporting work winning and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills; MCIPS or equivalent chartership desirable.
