Responsibilities
- Lead procurement of subcontractors, materials, plant, and services in line with Project Procurement Strategy and LOR values.
- Provide market intelligence, cost advice, and supply chain performance feedback.
- Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals.
- Champion in-house opportunities through DfMA and self-delivery.
- Ensure ethical, compliant procurement practices and monitor markets to mitigate risk.
- Promote innovation through materials, systems, and methods to improve cost efficiency and competitive advantage.
- Attend senior leadership and Business Plan Review meetings as required.
- Extensive construction industry experience with strong knowledge of interfaces and relationships.
- Expertise in negotiation, legal & contracting, supply base management, and NEC3/JCT contracts.
- Track record in creating and delivering procurement strategies that add value.
- Experience supporting work winning and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication skills; MCIPS or equivalent chartership desirable.
