The Growth Marketing Intern – Participant Engagement & Experimentation will join the Growth team to support engagement and retention initiatives across the UserTesting Network. Reporting to the Growth Lead, this role will focus on ideating, documenting, executing, and analyzing engagement experiments across Klaviyo and Intercom. Working closely with the Panel Growth team members, you will help translate the Participant Engagement strategy into structured experimentation. This includes building audience segments, launching campaigns, tracking performance, documenting insights, and iterating based on results. This is a hands-on growth role designed for someone who is curious about experimentation, data-driven marketing, and lifecycle optimization. You will gain direct exposure to real-world growth experimentation frameworks and performance analysis in a high-impact environment.
Responsibilities
- Ideate and propose engagement experiments aligned with activation and retention goals
- Build audience segments and execute campaigns within Klaviyo and Intercom
- Design and run structured A/B tests across messaging, subject lines, timing, and targeting
- Track and analyze campaign performance (open rate, CTR, activation rate, reactivation rate)
- Maintain a structured experimentation log including hypotheses, KPIs, results, and learnings
- Iterate on campaigns based on performance insights and recommend optimizations
- Collaborate with Growth Managers to prioritize experiments and align with broader growth objectives
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with data (Excel/Google Sheets required)
- Hands-on experience with engagement and retention, CRM, or email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Intercom) is a plus
- Basic understanding of A/B testing and experimentation principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple manual processes accurately
- Clear written communication skills
- Fluent in English (Our corporate language is English. Please submit your application in English.). French or German would be a plus.
