You'll get involved in projects from early discovery right through to final handover. It's a role with variety and some real ownership, rather than just executing on someone else's thinking.

- Persona building, empathy mapping, and user journey development
- Information architecture and user flow design
- Low and high fidelity wireframing across multiple devices

- Creating layout systems, typography, colour schemes, and component libraries
- Prototyping and presenting design concepts to clients and stakeholders
- Working within Atomic Design principles to build reusable, maintainable component systems
- Working closely with developers to ensure accurate handover and implementation
- Participating in design reviews and stakeholder presentations throughout the project
- Contributing to QA and heuristic evaluation at project delivery stages
- Supporting content creation with visual direction and assets
Skills & experience
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate genuine ability across both UX and UI. Not just familiarity, but a solid portfolio of real-world work. Here's what we'll be looking for:
- Strong portfolio showing end-to-end design work, from early UX through to final UI
- Confident communication skills, with the team, with clients, and on paper
- A structured approach to problem-solving and information architecture
- Proficiency in Adobe XD or Figma (preferably both), you should be comfortable turning your hand to different design tools
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Experience with responsive and accessible design
- Familiarity with Atomic Design methodology is a strong advantage
- An eye for detail and a genuine interest in how people interact with digital products
