Lived Experience Consultant (Northumberland)

Morpeth, UK, NE61 • Permanent, part‑time

Salary: £27k – £30k (pro‑rated) per year.

Bank holidays plus 25 days holiday (pro‑rated).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the voices of people in the justice system shape the services that affect them.
  • Work in HMP Northumberland and a range of community‑based projects regionally and occasionally nationally.
  • Travel independently to multiple sites each week; independent travel to significant projects may be required.
  • Maintain a valid UK driving licence and reliable vehicle; travel flexibility is essential.
  • Draw keys for the prison premises as required by HMPPS clearance.

Qualifications

  • Personal lived experience of the criminal justice system.
  • Must be off prison licence or community sentence.
  • Ability to obtain HMPPS clearance.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Terms & Conditions
