The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is one of the UK’s largest trade unions. Two vacancies exist for a Senior Contributions Administrator and a Temporary Senior Contributions Administrator based at the Union’s Head Office. The temporary contract is for up to 12 months, dependant on organisational requirements.

Principal duties are: to support efficient and effective membership records management and contribution services to the Union as part of the Records Section, ensuring membership and contribution information is comprehensive and accurate in line with Union rules and Government regulations.

The successful applicant will possess: supervisory skills; effective communication; IT proficiency, particularly Microsoft Office applications and databases; knowledge of direct debit and associated banking procedures; an ability to manage financial records including taking payments, direct debit processing and contribution schemes; a methodical approach and attention to detail; the ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines and a flexible approach to work.
