A vacancy exists for a Research Administrator based at the Union’s Head Office. Please note that this position is fully office based.

The principal duties are: under the general direction of the Head of Research and Policy, to provide general administrative support in connection with the smooth running of the department, to administer the Usdaw pay and conditions database and produce statistical reports on recruitment activities.
The successful applicant will possess:

- the ability to communicate effectively
- the ability to work harmoniously in a team and with individual colleagues
- a methodical approach with close attention to detail
- the ability to make sound judgements and know when to refer more complex queries
