The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is one of the UKs largest trade unions. A vacancy exists for a Research Administrator based at the Unions Head Office. Please note that this position is fully office based.
What we Offer:

- 34 hours week

The principal duties are: under the general direction of the Head of Research and Policy, to provide general administrative support in connection with the smooth running of the department, to administer the Usdaw pay and conditions database and produce statistical reports on recruitment activities.
The successful applicant will possess:

- The ability to communicate effectively;
- The ability to work harmoniously in a team and with individual colleagues;
- A methodical approach with close attention to detail;
- The ability to make sound judgements and know when to refer more complex queries;
