Digital Marketing and Platforms Manager – Media & Communications Department – Head Office (Ref: 959)

Salary: £54,499 pa rising to £61,913 pa after successful completion of the probationary period.

There are no set hours for this position, and the postholder will be expected to be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the job.

The postholder will be required to live within 50 miles of Head Office.

Overnight stays may be required.

Location: Head Office, Salford Quays, M50 3XZ. Please note that this position is fully office based.

A vacancy exists for a Digital Marketing and Platforms Manager based at the Union’s Head Office.

Principal duties are: to employ strategic digital expertise to drive recruitment, engagement and retention through modern, data-led marketing approaches by providing dedicated line management and professional oversight of the digital team, and ensuring up to date knowledge of digital marketing, content, and technology are embedded across the team and by introducing consistency, quality assurance, and strategic alignment in digital outputs.

The successful applicant will possess: significant experience in digital marketing, web management, or a related field; a strong understanding of integrated digital campaigns and content marketing strategies; experience of working with marketing automation platforms (eg Dotdigital or equivalent); knowledge of CRM systems and their role in audience segmentation and engagement; the ability to apply managerial judgement and initiative, alongside and in the absence of the Head and Deputy Head of Media & Communications; the ability to project manage and co-ordinate the work of other members of the team.
