This position is (37.5 hours/week).
Position Overview
The paraprofessional will work with students in the Reading and Math Intervention Groups.
This role involves assisting with instruction, reinforcing skills, and helping maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Previous educational experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities
- Patient, dependable, and team-oriented
- Associates Degree or 48 hours of college credit or pass Para Pro
- Test
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom instruction and activities
- Provide support to individual students or small groups
- Help reinforce academic and behavioral expectations
- Prepare instructional materials as directed
- Monitor student progress and assist with classroom management
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment
