Special Education Teacher - Instructional Supports: Goddard Public

Schools Special Education Cooperative is seeking a *World Class* school Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates interested in working in a collaborative and innovative environment with opportunities to develop their professional skills are encouraged to apply.

School Social Worker duties include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate the development and implementation of students' Individual Education Program (IEP).
• Serves as a member of the multidisciplinary team, the special education evaluation process, and attends special education meetings in support of student needs.
• Design and teach timely and accurate content and instructional activities that are aligned with the prescribed district curriculum and instructional practices.
• Utilize district and building-based initiatives when planning classroom instruction.
• Plan and implement effective lessons based on the student IEPs using time, materials, and resources effectively.
• Maintain student records, including but not limited to attendance, grades, and progress reports.
• Efficiently use instructional time to ensure students are engaged.
• Implement a variety of instruction methods to address the varied learning characteristics of the students.
