Us3 Consulting is seeking a business development professional to identify new clients and develop opportunities across our recruitment and consulting services. We welcome applications from experienced managers with a record of winning business, as well as more junior candidates who have shown the ability to open doors and generate genuine client interest.
The role involves building a pipeline through research, networking, referrals and direct outreach; engaging decision makers; understanding their hiring needs; and progressing opportunities towards new business.
For candidates still developing their commercial experience, you will have direct support from senior colleagues in building client relationships, shaping proposals, negotiating terms and closing agreements. You do not need to have managed every stage of a sale independently. What matters is your energy, tenacity and ability to have conversations that create opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and approach prospective clients across relevant markets.
- Build a consistent pipeline of leads, meetings and opportunities.
- Establish relationships with hiring managers and decision makers.
- Understand client requirements and work with senior colleagues to develop and close opportunities.
- Maintain and grow relationships after an account has been won.
Experience of winning recruitment or staffing business would be an advantage. Equally, we would welcome someone earlier in their career who can demonstrate initiative, persistence and the ability to generate productive client conversations.
Once a client is on board, our senior resourcing and delivery teams can take care of the recruitment delivery, giving you confidence in the service behind the relationships you build.
