A leading global logistics organization is looking for a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to drive growth within its Project Logistics & Freight Forwarding division. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven professional with strong operational grounding in complex logistics projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive business development across key markets, focusing on project logistics opportunities
- Execute strategic sales plans and manage the full sales lifecycle (prospecting → tendering → closing)
- Lead pricing, bid preparation, and tender management for large-scale logistics projects
- Develop tailored logistics solutions including air, ocean, road, and out-of-gauge (OOG) shipments
- Ensure smooth handover and integration of new accounts into operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Use CRM and sales tools to manage pipeline, forecasting, and reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and external partners to deliver complex projects
What We’re Looking For
- Must-have: Strong experience in freight forwarding (air and/or ocean)
- Proven track record in sales/business development within logistics or supply chain
- Solid background in project logistics and complex industrial projects
- Experience handling heavy lift, OOG cargo, or large-scale transport solutions
- Strong commercial acumen with pricing and tender management expertise
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
