We are seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Engineer to support and maintain critical infrastructure environments within a high-availability utility operation. This role is focused on 2nd Line OT support, system patching, device configuration, maintenance, and operational continuity across industrial IT / OT environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong infrastructure and support experience in mission-critical systems. SCADA experience is not required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in 2nd Line Infrastructure / OT / Industrial IT Support roles.
  • Strong experience with Windows Server, Windows desktop environments, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with system patching, vulnerability remediation, and endpoint maintenance.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, switches, VLANs, firewalls).
  • Experience working in high-availability / 24x7 environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
  • Familiarity with change control and regulated environments.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Exposure to OT environments such as utilities, energy, manufacturing, transport, or critical national infrastructure.
  • Virtualisation technologies (VMware / Hyper-V).
  • Backup / recovery solutions.
  • Cyber security controls within OT environments.
  • ITIL certification or service management experience.
  • Awareness of IEC62443 / NIS / critical infrastructure standards.
