For one of my leading Insuretech clients we are seeking an experienced Guidewire Transformation Director to lead and deliver large-scale insurance transformation programmes. This role is responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end transformation strategy across Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter), ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational efficiency, and long-term digital capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end transformation strategy and delivery of Guidewire programmes across the organisation.
  • Own programme governance, ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and aligned to business outcomes.
  • Act as the senior interface between C-suite stakeholders, business units, and technology teams.
  • Drive business transformation, including process redesign, operating model evolution, and change management.
  • Oversee multiple workstreams (business, technology, data, integration, testing, and deployment).
  • Ensure alignment with Guidewire best practices and target architecture.
  • Manage third-party vendors, system integrators, and delivery partners.
  • Lead programme teams, including Programme Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, and Delivery Leads.
  • Drive risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication at executive level.
  • Ensure successful adoption and business readiness, including training, UAT, and post-implementation support.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience leading large-scale Guidewire transformation programmes (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter).
  • Strong background in insurance / InsurTech environments.
  • Demonstrated experience at Director / Programme Director level, leading complex, multi-country programmes.
  • Experience managing budgets, governance, and delivery across global teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, cloud, and modern insurance platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including CIO, CTO, COO, and business leadership engagement.
  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud transformations.
  • Background in data migration, integration architecture, and API-driven ecosystems.
  • Experience with Agile at scale (SAFe or similar frameworks).
  • Guidewire certifications or relevant transformation credentials.
  • Strategic leadership with a hands-on delivery mindset.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to drive business value.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, complex transformation environments.
