As a supervisory budget analyst within the 423 Civil Engineer Squadron Asset Accountability Element, this position serves as the section lead, overseeing and administering all budgeting, reporting, and internal control functions, to include the reimbursement program. The primary responsibility involves performing comprehensive budget formulation, execution, and administration. This includes preparing detailed analyses of annual and multi-year estimates to create consolidated budget requests, as well as monitoring obligations and actual expenditures across diverse funding streams—such as direct annual, multi-year, and no-year appropriations, apportionments, allotments, transfers, refunds, and industrial revenues.
In addition to technical fiscal oversight, this role exercises full supervisory personnel management responsibilities, directly supervising accounting technicians within the element. The incumbent serves as a key advisor, providing expert assistance, guidance, and consultation on budgeting and financial information to assigned organizations and programs. Furthermore, the position conducts critical analyses, reviews, and specialized economic or cost studies of budget-related data to support substantive squadron programs and decision-making processes.
