We are looking for an Audio Engineer to support research through high-quality audio and video data collection in advanced recording facilities. This is a hands-on, lab-based role suited to someone passionate about sound, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with professional audio equipment.
Responsibilities
- Collect high-quality audio and video data in controlled lab environments
- Set up, test, and calibrate recording equipment
- Process and organize multimedia data using standard tools and scripts
- Work with internal and external participants during recording sessions
- Support experiment setup and general lab maintenance
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in audio engineering, sound engineering, or AV technician roles
- Strong knowledge of DAWs, audio interfaces, microphones, and speakers
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with large datasets or spreadsheets
