About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Procurement Contracts Manager to lead compliant, high-quality procurement activity within a large education-focused organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with strong experience in UK public sector procurement, strategic sourcing, and FTS tenders who enjoys working with multiple stakeholders and delivering value through effective procurement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement exercises, including regulated FTS tenders and framework-based procurements.
- Develop and manage a procurement pipeline to ensure proactive planning and timely delivery.
- Advise internal stakeholders on the most appropriate procurement routes, including frameworks, mini-competitions, direct awards, and quotations.
- Prepare procurement documentation, including specifications, evaluation criteria, tender documentation, award reports, and governance papers.
- Ensure full compliance with the Procurement Act 2023, internal governance, and procurement policies.
- Manage and maintain framework agreements and Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS).
