Responsibilities
- Provide 1st & 2nd line support to users for all PC hardware, software and associated peripherals, escalating internally or redirecting to suppliers where necessary.
- Manage and resolve support calls on the IT Helpdesk, documenting outcomes and proactively informing users of outstanding requests.
- Maintain the IT Departments technical documentation, guidelines and procedures to keep them up to date.
- Deploy and maintain PCs and associated peripherals, redeploying existing equipment to agreed standards, performing upgrades, new installations and routine procedures.
- Create user accounts for new starters on AD, Email systems and ERP systems.
- Complete daily checklist to identify early issues, resolving them as per SLAs.
- Install and configure operating systems and other software to agreed standards.
- Assist in compiling and maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware and software.
- Provide at all times a professional, courteous and rapid response to individual users.
