About the Position

Serves as a Budget Analyst responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing the Medical Treatment Facility's Operations and Maintenance budget.

Direct Hire Solicitation. Eligible applicants are U.S. citizens.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • GS‑09
    • Specialized Experience: one year assisting with budget formulation and execution, monitoring obligations and expenditures, and preparing financial reports.
    • Education: Master’s degree or 2 full years of progressive graduate education leading to such a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
    • Combination: a percentage of education and experience that equals at least 100%, calculated by dividing total months of experience by 12 and adding the percentage derived from graduate semester hours beyond the first year.
  • GS‑11
    • Specialized Experience: one year including the responsibilities listed above, interpreting financial policies and regulations, and providing budgeting guidance to managers.
    • Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressive graduate education leading to such a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
    • Combination: a percentage of education and experience that equals at least 100%, calculated by dividing total months of experience by 12 and adding the percentage derived from graduate semester hours beyond the second year.
