We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading US law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Payroll Coordinator. This is a new role in their London office whereby the successful applicant will assist with the end-to-end payroll process and support internal and external queries.
Responsibilities will include:
- Inputting UK and international monthly payroll data.
- Updating new starter, processing leavers, and inputting payroll data.
- Verifying employee start forms, ensuring any discrepancies are flagged.
- Processing P45s.
- Collecting data, preparing outputs, and distributing reports.
- Managing employee and provider queries.
- Communicating payroll deadlines.
- Preparing and uploading pension data.
- Supporting with P11D and PSA.
- Working with the US office to process shadow payrolls.
- Uploading client invoices.
- Monitoring HMRC RTI submissions.
- Supporting internal and external audits.
The firm is offering a competitive salary & benefits package, and hybrid working arrangements are in place. Suitable candidates will have gained 2+ years of payroll experience, ideally within a law firm, although professional services environments will also be considered. We are seeking applicants with a strong understanding of UK legislation & benefits rules, P11D and PSA knowledge, and exemplary attention to detail, numeracy, and organisation skills. Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, IHCM ADP and COUPA is highly desired.
