US Law Support are currently recruiting for a Legal Networks Events Specialist to join the London office of a leading US law firm. The Legal Networks Events Specialist will act as a liaison and coordinator of the legal networks for the firms’ life sciences clients. This will involve working directly with partners and other stakeholders, to plan and execute events, meetings and webinars; and brainstorming on strategies to improve the profile of the networks. The successful applicant will also support Business Development and Marketing team members across different offices to coordinate marketing efforts.

General responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, planning, leading, and executing legal networks events for members.
  • Creating project plans and timelines.
  • Chairing and scheduling regular planning calls.
  • Leading on event related tasks and providing onsite event management support.
  • Drafting and coordinating internal and external communications relating to the events.
  • Analysing event feedback.
  • Working closely with the planning teams, relevant BD colleagues, and IT on event logistics, including invitations, strategic development of guest lists, speakers, visual presentations, and restaurant bookings.
  • Acting as a primary liaison between the legal networks and its members - answering queries, providing information, preparing regular communication activities, maintaining membership records, and assisting with the annual renewals process.
  • Maintaining and regularly updating company contacts and event-related details across CRM platforms to ensure accuracy.
  • Undertaking research within the legal networks for topics to be covered at meetings.
