We are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager on behalf of our client, a highly regarded US law firm.
This is a full-time, permanent position and the successful applicant will be responsible for driving and implementing strategic, revenue generating business development activities for the Private Equity and Finance practices in London. This will involve creating market leading initiatives aligned with firm global goals, to drive the business forward; and collaborating across the practice areas between the firm’s London and European offices, as well as with the US.
Duties will include:
- Organising and driving client targeting programmes
- Leading and drafting content for cross-practice RFPs and pitches, including coordination with colleagues
- Guiding lateral hires through the protocols of bringing in clients and integrating them into firm priorities
- Facilitating cross-selling opportunities across the firm, including crafting and executing a range of go-to-market strategies
- Conducting strategic research on potential clients, competitors, and practice developments to identify business trends and opportunities
- Building effective agendas for meetings, preparing materials and speakers, and project managing actions
- Facilitating participation in sponsorships, conferences, memberships and other key profile-building opportunities for the office and individual lawyers
- Managing the workflow and performance of 2 direct reports
- Managing the business development budget for the designated practice groups
