We are currently recruiting for a brand-new Paralegal position, to work in the London office of a leading US law firm. The role will be offered on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract basis and will be to support the growing Sustainability team. This fantastic opportunity will see you working in an excellent practice area, partaking in a range of activities including legal research, drafting documents, and liaising with clients. Paralegals at this firm are offered a range of high-quality work and exposure that is second to none.

Typical duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Drafting SFDR disclosures.
  • Conducting company and sustainability searches.
  • Maintaining and updating trackers for due diligence.
  • Assisting with side letter requests.
  • Researching regulatory developments and recording findings.
  • Developing and maintaining knowhow materials.
  • Attending meetings and training sessions.

As such, the firm is looking for a driven Paralegal, with a strong academic background and 18+ months of availability. Suitable applicants will also have ideally gained some prior experience in a corporate paralegal role (or similar) within a law firm or in-house legal department. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
