We are currently recruiting for a brand-new Paralegal position, to work in the London office of a leading US law firm.
The role will be offered on a rolling 6 month fixed-term contract basis and will be to support the high-performing Financial Services Regulatory team.
This fantastic opportunity will see you working in a top-tier practice area, partaking in a range of activities including legal research, drafting documents, and liaising with clients.
Paralegals at this firm are offered a range of high-quality work and exposure that is second to none.
Typical duties will include (but are not limited to): Project management tasks for both advisory and transactional matters Liaising with local counsel and clients Performing factual and substantive research Preparing first drafts and coordinating the collection of regulatory filing materials Compiling written records of developments in the Financial Services Regulatory team’s practice area Assisting Partners and the wider team with the development and maintenance of knowhow materials Attending practice group meetings and training sessions As such, the firm is looking for a driven Paralegal, with a strong academic background and 18+ months of availability.
Suitable applicants will also have ideally gained some prior experience in a Financial Services Regulatory role (or similar) within a law firm or in-house legal department.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
