We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Events Specialist. This is a permanent role in their London office, to work as part of their highly collaborative team, whereby the successful applicant will be responsible for planning internal and external client events across EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with stakeholders and internal groups to lead development.
- Planning client-facing, networking, and internal events alongside webinars and seminars.
- Directing event logistics such as budget, event analysis, and progress.
- Sourcing vendors and suppliers and managing relationships.
- Advising best practice for virtual events and managing online registration.
- Establishing relationships with venues and professional associations.
- Ensuring client contact information is properly stored and managed.
- Representing the firm and its values.
- Mentoring junior members of the team.
Qualifications
Suitable candidates will have gained 5+ years of prior events experience, ideally within a law firm, or similar environment, with sound knowledge of London venues and suppliers. We are seeking applicants with exemplary attention to detail, strong project management, communication, and organisation skills. Applicants should also have a genuine client-service oriented approach and strong negotiation skills.
