Head of Training and Business Development in City of London

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Senior Business Development Manager to support their transactional practice areas (Finance, Corporate M&A, and Private Equity). This is an exciting opportunity in their expanding London office, to work as part of their highly collaborative team, whereby the successful applicant will be responsible for spearheading and implementing BD initiatives to drive the business forward.

• Drafting content for pitches and RFPs.
• Researching potential clients, competitors, and developments within the practice area to identify trends and opportunities.
• Building agendas, preparing materials, and project managing post-meeting actions.
• Coordinating BD events and follow-up activities.
• Identifying and facilitating participation in profile-building opportunities.
• Managing workflow of direct reports and providing performance feedback.
• Managing and tracking the BD budget.

Suitable candidates will have gained 10+ years of Business Development experience, ideally within a law firm, although professional services environments will also be considered.
