We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading US law firm to assist in their search for a Marketing & Business Development Manager in their London office. This role will be offered on a 15-month FTC basis and will primarily support the Investment Practice, Financial Restructuring Group, and Transportation team. These are market-leading practices, underpinned by the drive to deliver an exceptional service to clients on the most innovative of transactions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the drafting and implementation of each group's marketing plan.
  • Managing each team's clients and prospect targeting lists, compiling data and running reports for partner groups.
  • Providing end-to-end support on the RFP, pitching and proposals process and monitoring progress.
  • Creating marketing collateral to include high-quality brochures, client presentations, alerts and communications.
  • Assisting in the drafting, editing and sending of internal newsletters, client updates and BD related correspondence.
  • Working closely with the firm’s PR team to ensure PR and media channels are fully leveraged.
  • Managing key client events and executing thought-leadership programmes.
  • Managing the annual directory and award submissions process.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to maximise return on investment.
  • Maintaining and ensuring best practices for end-to-end deal collection.
  • Conducting client and market research, staying abreast of trends and updates.
  • Working collaboratively with global BD and marketing colleagues to ensure the success of programmes, campaigns and initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a BD & Marketing professional to enjoy great exposure and support leading practices in a highly collaborative team. Suitable applicants will have gained 5+ years of prior relevant experience, be highly motivated, possess strong project management & interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with CRM systems such as InterAction, SharePoint and Concep Campaigner is also highly desirable.
