This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join GoCardless in our London office as a Software Development Engineer II. You will actively shape the team's future, aiming to build robust, high-quality products. You'll be involved in planning and executing the technical vision, which includes working on some key initiatives and collaborating with colleagues inside and outside the team to help us achieve great impact.
You have a growth mindset, motivated by driving concrete business outcomes. You are passionate about building and improving products by experimenting, prototyping and applying an iterative approach to validate ideas and learn. Experience building web products and services and awareness of technologies across the front-end and back-end stack is essential. You enjoy building delightful experiences for users and have a keen eye for detail. You care about building reliable, well-tested systems. As a bonus, you have some experience working with the backend and are open to working across the stack.
Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
