Join us in shaping the future of sustainable tourism in North Lewis. We are seeking a motivated and creative Tourism Coordinator to help develop and promote high-quality visitor experiences across the Galson Estate. Working at the heart of a community-owned organisation, you will collaborate with local businesses, groups, and tourism partners to bring the ‘Visit North Lewis’ offer to life.
This is a full-time, 12-month graduate placement (37 hours per week) with a salary of £26,780, supported by the HIE Graduate Placement Programme, with potential for progression. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in destination development, marketing, and partnership working, while contributing to a sustainable, community-led tourism economy.
To apply, you should hold a degree, HND or HNC (ideally in tourism or a related field, but others are considered), have strong communication and organisational skills, and be able to build effective partnerships. Candidates must have graduated within the last four years (with ideally no more than one year’s graduate-level experience) and be resident in the Highlands and Islands for the duration of the placement.
