As an integral part of a matrix team, the Territory Manager will collaborate with marketing and field sales to promote, sell, and grow On Formulary target brands across the Advanced Wound Care (AWC) segment within a defined territory. The role is field‐based with frequent travel across the Birmingham, Black Country, Staffordshire, Telford & Wrekin areas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Business Plans to optimise account growth.
  • Create best‐in‐class Implementation Plans and review them regularly.
  • Work closely with the local Matrix team to support account wins and formulary pull‐through.
  • Consistently achieve annual sales and market share targets for the Urgo Focus Brand Portfolio.
  • Meet agreed KPIs and objectives, including effective use of the Urgo CRM system.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Urgo products, policies and objectives.
  • Provide customers with relevant clinical and product knowledge through exceptional presentation and listening skills.
  • Build outstanding customer relationships so that Urgo is seen as the 'Partner of Choice.'
  • Apply challenger selling skills and deliver current marketing messages and materials to promote On Formulary products.
  • Utilise all available data sources to enable highly effective planning and territory management.
  • Organise and manage customer meetings, study days and exhibitions within the territory.
  • Participate in regional and national sales meetings to share best practice.
  • Take ownership of personal development to keep product, clinical and therapeutic knowledge current.
  • Serve as a mentor and/or buddy to other members of the sales force.
  • Deliver high‐quality digital and face‐to‐face presentations to customers.
  • Support the organisation at external national and international conferences.
  • Act as an ambassador and role model who embodies Urgo DNA and values.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of people with wounds.
  • Strong relationship‐building ability.
  • Customer‐focused, confident, driven, and self‐motivated.
  • Capability to analyse sales data and translate findings into strategic sales plans.
  • Demonstrable sales experience or working knowledge of the healthcare industry.
  • Degree‐level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • IT literacy.
  • Knowledge of the wound care market is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and engaging presentation skills.
