Finance Assistant - Sales Ledger Role
We’re looking for an experienced Finance Assistant – Sales Ledger to join our UK Finance Team and play a key role in supporting the business through accurate and timely sales ledger and accounts receivable administration. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, great communication skills, and a positive, proactive approach, who enjoys working with data and building relationships.
As Finance Assistant – Sales Ledger, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the sales ledger, ensuring cash receipts are accurately recorded and customer accounts are well maintained. You’ll act as a key point of contact for customer queries, support debt management activity, and assist with month‑end reporting, working closely with colleagues across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Posting daily cash receipts and maintaining the sales ledger
- Accurate allocation of customer payments
- Setting up and maintaining customer accounts
- Acting as the main point of contact for customer account queries
- Chasing outstanding debt and resolving account discrepancies
- Building professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/Level 4 or above) as a minimum
- Previous administrative experience within a finance environment
