We are seeking an experienced Locum Practice Nurse for a 12-month cover with a well-established GP surgery. The role will be for every Wednesday, with flexible working hours to suit the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse looking to provide high-quality care while enjoying flexibility and competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- General treatment room duties, including:
- Chronic disease management (asthma, diabetes, COPD)
- Cervical smears, vaccinations, and immunisations
- Wound care, minor treatments, and health checks
- Proficient use of System One to document patient records
- Delivering excellent patient care, working collaboratively with the team to ensure best outcomes
Key Requirements:
- At least 6 months of GP surgery experience as a Practice Nurse within the UK
- Experience with System One
- Competence in general treatment room duties (asthma, diabetes, smears, immunisations, etc.)
- Available to work every Wednesday with flexible working times
- Ability to start ASAP
