Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) – GP Surgery

Location: Torquay

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Pay Rate: £40.00-£50.00 (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a friendly and supportive GP surgery in Torquay. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established practice with a strong multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients
  • Undertake face-to-face and/or telephone triage appointments
  • Independently assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of minor illness and acute conditions
  • Prescribe medications and refer patients appropriately
  • Support the practice team in delivering excellent patient care

Requirements:

  • Registered with the NMC as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Independent Prescriber (V300)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in primary care/general practice
  • Confident with EMIS / SystmOne (please specify which)
  • Able to work autonomously
