About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a friendly and supportive GP surgery in Torquay. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established practice with a strong multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients
- Undertake face-to-face and/or telephone triage appointments
- Independently assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of minor illness and acute conditions
- Prescribe medications and refer patients appropriately
- Support the practice team in delivering excellent patient care
Requirements:
- Registered with the NMC as a Nurse Practitioner
- Independent Prescriber (V300)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in primary care/general practice
- Confident with EMIS / SystmOne (please specify which)
- Able to work autonomously
