The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
This is an 18 month, fixed term contract. Urenco is a global leader in the production of low carbon energy. We work at the cutting edge of the transition to a sustainable, net zero world. Based at our Paddington location, as part of the I&T workstream there is a requirement to deliver a set of commercial savings and improvements to the I&T Governance position. This role will work closely with the Head of Governance to oversee policy, process and frameworks to ensure IT is efficient and compliant against standards. The role will review the commercial savings, and the governance improvements required and manage the plan to close the gap. Policy, procedure, Supplier and Software Asset management will be part of the improvements required in addition to supporting the Risk and compliance position.

What you’ll do:
- Contribute to the formation of one or more elements of functional strategy through specialist expertise and insights, to ensure that the strategy meets business needs.
- Identify shortcomings and suggest improvements to existing processes, systems, and procedures, then deliver a plan for a small element of a change management program with guidance from a project/program manager.
- Monitor and review performance and behaviours within area of responsibility to identify and resolve noncompliance with the organization’s policies and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct.
- Review existing operations in own area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered.
- Deliver small- or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan.
What do you need to thrive in this role?
- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
- Understands project management methodologies: Prince2, PMI, LEAN, Agile, Scrum ITIL or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience at Leadership level delivering multi-faceted Governance positions.
- Proven experience of translating business requirements into practical implementation projects / processes using internal and third-party service providers.
- Proven experience of using project office to drive programme and project delivery including providing programme assurance and governance (planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes).
